Until you have kids, you could never possibly realize how difficult hair care can be.  As a toddler, my daughter always disliked having her hair cut, and as a preschooler, she still hates having her hair washed or brushed.  As a result, she often leaves the house with her hair messier than I would like.

We got past the haircut issues with visits to Snip-its (read our Snip-Its review here) which my daughter just adores.  So, it makes total sense that their hair care line, launched in 2006, would be a favorite in our household.

We tried out two different products - the Swimmer’s Solution Clarifying Shampoo and the Morning Miracle Spray-On Mousse.  The shampoo is perfect for the summer or for vacations by removing chlorine buildup in your child’s hair.  It has a tropical scent, so is effective but mild.  The spray-on mousse is an alcohol-free, non-aerosol spray that is absolutely perfect for taming cowlicks and bed head.   Every morning, I spray a bit on my daughter’s hair, and then comb it out.  It does a great job of keeping her curls at bay.   In addition, it works great in my son’s hair whenever he wakes up with a cowlick.
