Making Memories Last

March 26th, 2008

I’m pretty sentimental. I totally admit that I get weepy when looking through baby clothes. I love who my little guys are now but, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to let go of missing those days when they were my tiny babies. With a Baby Clothes Quilt from Ticche & Bea, I’ll always have their favorite (and my favorite) pieces of apparel from their baby-hood to cherish.

Each kit comes with everything you would need to have to make those special clothes into a beautiful quilt. Within the box, you will find detailed instructions, that even I could follow, batting, quilt backing, safety and straight pins, a cutting template, and alternating squares of minkee fabric for the front. If you can’t sew, Ticche & Bea also offers customers the option to send in their pieces of baby clothes to be pieced together by them. Although I’ve been known to be a bit ‘crafty,’ I can’t say that I’m very talented with a needle and thread. Thankfully, the Baby Clothes Quilt makes it easy for us, non-sewers, to preserve our special memories.

With those silly, colorful, smart, or just plain cute onesies or shirts, the Baby Clothes Quilt is not just pretty but so personal that it is destined to be an heirloom. I love that those special pieces of clothing will not be kept in a dusty and musty box in our attic or closets.

You can find the Baby Clothes Quilt at http://www.ticcheandbea.com.
