After the birth of my second child, I had a difficult time keeping track of all of our medicine doses. I’d had a c-section, so I had a few different pills to take, plus Prednisone for PUPPPS which didn’t go away after the birth. In addition, my son was also on antibiotics for a medical issue, so overall, I had many different medications to keep track of. Add all of that to an utter lack of sleep, and the potential for an error was very high.
I really wish I had the Dose Keeper then. The Dose Keeper is a plastic sleeve that slides over my medication bottle with an elasticized band. It holds a piece of dosing paper, and a golf sized pencil. Unlike the pad of paper I used for this purpose, because it stays on the bottle, it goes with the medicine. So, you’ll always know what time the medicine was last taken.
The Dose Keeper comes in 8 different band colors, so you can choose a different color for each member of the family, if you’d like. You can find the Dose Keeper at http://www.dosekeeper.com.
