If you are a frequent reader of Mom’s Favorite Stuff, you know that we love all things Skip Hop.  Christine and I were excited to learn about their new nursery decor, because the clean, geometric, modern design that Skip Hop embodies is desperately missing in today’s nursery decor.  After viewing and sampling the line first hand, I can state that these new products are absolutely wonderful and perfect for a modern nursery.

Currently, there are two lines available, the Mod Dot Collection - appropriate for a boy or for a gender neutral nursery, and the Vine Floral Collection - for a girl.  The 5 piece set contains a reversible crib skirt, two fitted sheets, a comforter, and a bumper, while a lamp, a pillow, an organizer, and a blanket are available separately.  Made from a 385 thread count cotton, this is no ordinary nursery bedding set!  The comforter, while not recommended for an infant, has a super-soft backing which makes it perfect for a child old enough for a blanket.  The design is modern and beautiful, and the quality is impeccible. 

I just love the designs on both collections, and it’s a huge step up from the ubiquitous cutesy designs.  The Skip Hop collection really embodies the new, modern look for nurseries that moms and dads are looking for, and also offers fabulous quality.  Check out the line at http://www.skiphop.com.
