With a few days over 80 degrees last week, it’s definitely time to make sure we have our swim gear ready for the kids. They destroy their swimwear every year, so we always have to entirely replenish our collection. In addition, between summer camps, our pool membership, swim lessons, and family vacation, they do go through quite a few suits. Carter’s, a brand I’ve trusted for years, is offering some great swim wear for babies, toddlers, and kids, and I’ve already picked my favorites.
For my daughter, I love this monkey two-piece swim suit (pictured). It’s fun and completely adorable, and offers SPF 40 protection. Plus, the rash guard top is perfect for my little girl who is always getting some sort of a rash. It is available up to size 6x, which is perfect for her.
For my son, I really like this orange rash guard skateboarding shirt. My little guy has very pale skin, so the SPF 40 is essential for him, and with his sensitive skin, he needs to wear rash guard. I also love the color, because he has a tendency to run off. I can spot him easily if he’s wearing bright orange.
My favorite boy’s shorts are these matching bright skateboard pants, which have SPF 40 and an elastic waist (my son refuses to wear buttons). They are perfect for a little guy who’s starting to outgrow some of the characters that were on his old swimsuits.
