I’ll admit that as my clock ticks closer to 40, the amount of gray in my hair has increased from a few annoying hairs to patches of grays. Now, I rely on my every-six-week hair appointment to keep those hairs looking brown. When I travel or have other circumstances come up, I occasionally have to push the appointment back a week or two, and by then, my roots are most definitely starting to show. I’ve been recently using Rita Hazan’s Root Concealer spray, available at Sephora, to help conceal those stubborn grays.
Rita Hazan’s Root Concealer spray is available in several different colors – dark brown/black, light brown, red/auburn, dark blonde, and blonde/golden blonde. The colors run very dark – while my hair is definitely brown, I use the dark blonde spray. It’s easy to apply and lasts until you wash it out. I generally only use it for a few days or so every few months, but it’s lasted a while so far.
You can find Rita Hazan Root Concealer Spray at Sephora.
Disclosure: I received a can of the root concealer spray at no cost.
