Disclosure: I received a sample of Nelson J Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask for review. All opinions are my own.

After the difficult winter we just had, my hair is especially dry. I am tough on my hair – with highlights, all-over-color, hair drying, and hair straightening as part of my beauty regimen. So now that the weather is improving, I’ve been trying hard to get my hair in better shape. I’d heard great things about the Nelson J Argan Oil 7 Moisturizing Healing Mask, so when I had the chance to review it, I was thrilled to give it a try.

The Moisture Healing Mask is part of an entire line of argan oil hair products, and comes in several different varieties – pomegranate, coconut, and rosemary. I decided to try the pomegranate, because it seemed like a nice, light scent for spring. It can be used in the shower after shampooing for both a quick conditioning (leave on for 3 minutes or so) and a longer treatment (20 minutes). I usually don’t like to have to rinse my hair after showering, so I only do that longer treatment once a week. Then, I do the shorter treatment once or twice per week.

I definitely have noticed results after using it for two weeks. My hair is softer and more manageable and definitely doesn’t feel as dry.

I use the rosemary mint scent and it helped my hair so much from the damage straightening does. It made it feel so smooth and silky without leaving that oily feeling like some conditioners do.
