Family Dining With Maggiano’s Little Italy
It’s no surprise that I love good food. I especially love when I’m not the one responsible for cooking or cleaning that good food. That’s why I was one of the first in line to RSVP for the Boston Parent Blogger lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy, located in Boston’s Theater District.
I’ve lived in the Boston area since 1996, and love Italian food, so it’s surprising that I’ve never actually been to Maggiano’s. The timing of the event was perfect – one week after I was given the okay to stop the vegan diet I was on.
We were treated to a delicious tasting menu of some amazing food – from the caprese salad featured to the left (this is actually the vegan version that I photographed), to some great salads, entrees, and desserts. I especially loved hearing that the food at Maggiano’s is all cooked from scratch – that’s something I didn’t know.
While I wasn’t drinking at that point (still coming off the Accutane), the sangria they served looked great. I instead had the specialty lemonade, which was amazing.
If you aren’t familiar with Maggiano’s, they are especially famous for their family-style meals where you order a few entrees for a party of four or more to share. I definitely plan to visit Maggiano’s again – the food is great and the location is so convenient.
