Fighting the Signs of Aging with RoC #ROCacademy

Disclosure: This post is part of a sponsored campaign with RoC and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.

RoC-gift-basketI turned 40 earlier this year, and my skin is definitely starting to show signs of aging. My skin is blemish-prone and somewhat oily, so while I don’t have many wrinkles, I am seeing some loss of firmness in my skin. That’s why I was excited to work on a campaign this month with RoC, a brand that was created by a pharmacist in 1957. As I participate in the campaign, I’ll be learning about beauty and skincare using an exclusive online resource that will offer a behind-the-scenes look into skincare. In addition, I’ll be participating in a Twitter party later this month, with a dermatologist offering tips.

Roc Skin Care Review

I received a few great RoC products to review – you can see in my video how I’m liking them. Here’s what I received:

  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30
  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream
  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Eye Cream
  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Serum
  • RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® MAX Wrinkle Resurfacing System

In the mornings, I wash my face in the shower, and then use the Serum followed by the Daily Moisturizer. Because the moisturizer has SPF 30, it’s a great product to use for daytime. I also apply a bit of the eye cream around my eyes. In the evenings, when I put the kids to bed, I wash off my makeup and use the MAX Wrinkle Resurfacing System. Then, when I go to bed, I use the Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. I’m looking forward to seeing my progress in the next few weeks – look for a follow up post with more information on how it works and what I learn.

To learn more, check out the #ROCacademy Twitter party on Thursday, April 3, at 1p ET. Here’s the Twtvite with more info. You can purchase on Walgreens.com.
