Giveaway: Family Game Night with Coca-Cola

Recently, with the threat of power outages from Hurricane Irene (which luckily, my part of town did not experience), I was thinking about what our family would do to occupy our time with no electricity.   Despite my good intentions, we are quite reliant on electricity for our entertainment.   Family game night is one of those things that families can do with no electricity – and as a bonus, it’s great for bonding.

Coca-Cola, through their Coke Rewards program, is offering one Mom’s Favorite Stuff reader a family game night gift pack.   The kit is valued at $100 and includes the following items:

  • (1) $25 Amex Card for snacks and supplies
  • (1) Coca-Cola Coupon
  • (1) Yatzee Board Game
  • (1) Monopoly Board Game
  • (1) Coca-Cola Polar Bear Puzzle
  • (1) Checkers Mat

Win it!   To enter to win this gift set, please leave a comment below with your favorite game for family game night.   Entrants must be 18 or older and located in the US or Canada only. Winner to be chosen at random. Giveaway ends 10/10/11 at 11:59pm ET.

Disclosure: The prize was provided by Coca-Cola, but Coca-Cola is not a sponsor, administrator, or involved in any other way with this giveaway. All opinions expressed in the post are my own and not those of Coca-Cola. Entrants must be 18 or older and located in the US or Canada only. Winner to be chosen at random. I also received a family game set.

Our family loves to play all games but our favorite right now is Apples to Apples, that is always the one our daughter chooses.

Our latest game that we are enjoying for game night is Boggle. We let the younger kids make 3 letter or larger words. The rest of us have to make 4 letters or higher. It makes it funner for everyone that way.

Our most favorite game for family game night is Uno if we only have a short time to play but if we are in no hurry its Monopoly for sure.

Our all time favorite is Pictionary. Each team has an easel with a dry erase board. We get so into the fun! Snacks are very necessary also!

Our favorite games were always dominoes and Scrabble with an occasional game of Chickenfoot. I would really love to get back into having a family game night. It just has been hard since Mom passed away. Maybe the excuse of getting everyone to help me break in these new games and a puzzle could get us started again.
