Hershey’s KISSES Sweetest Memory and Giveaway #HersheysKisses

My grandmother always had (and still has) candy at her house in little bowls.  It wasn’t those hard candies that grandmas are known to stock – it was chocolate… Hershey’s KISSES to be exact.  It’s the perfect sized candy for a little treat – not enough to ruin your appetite for dinner, and I was always happy to go to Grandma’s house because I always knew she’d have Hershey’s KISSES in those bowls scattered through the house.  My kids love visits with her too, because they know she’ll always have a special chocolate treat for them.

As an adult, I still have fond memories of Hershey’s KISSES, and love to buy them.  They are perfect when I need just a little chocolate fix, and my kids love to eat them too.  I love the fact that even though they’ve come up with new flavors, the originals are the same ones I remember as a kid.

Hershey’s just opened a new factory in West Hershey, PA, and to celebrate, they are offering one lucky reader 4 bags of those iconic Hershey’s KISSES.  Enter via the Rafflecopter, and let me know what your favorite memory of Hershey’s KISSES is!

I’d love to win and send to my grandchildren who live in a different state than I do so I’d love to send them a kiss and it would be a memorable one

My family and I love Hershey Kisses. I like to put a few in my kids and husbands lunches, as a surprise to let them know I’m thinking of them. They love the sweet treat.
    Thanks so much.

When my oldest child was a toddler (I believe he had just turned 1) he somehow got ahold of a bag of Hershey’s Kisses and ate several of them–wrapper and all!!

A few weeks before Christmas, I bought Hershey’s Kisses for a cookie recipe, when I began to make them, I discovered the Hershey’s Kisses were gone. My hubby ate them, so he had to get me more, lol :)

I remember when I was in elementary school that I won a giant sized Hershey kiss as part of the Valentines celebration. I can remember getting home and me and my brother getting out a knife to chop off pieces to eat. Then I remember the disappointment when we found out that this giant Hershey kiss was actually hollow. This was especially troubling for my brother because there was no longer enough chocolate for me to share!!!

Years ago at work, someone would leave random Hershey Kisses at my desk. I never found out who it was, but they made me smile.

I remember receiving one of those giant Hershey Kiss filled candy canes every year at Christmas. There is nothing better than cracking that candy cane open to dig into the chocolate, and nothing worse than realizing you have just eaten the last piece.

My favorite is of many Valentine’s Day as kid getting the jumbo Hershey Kiss and I could never eat it all!

That is interesting about your grandmother because my grandmother also had Hershey’s Kisses all the time. She had a real tall covered candy dish in her living room and I remember we could have as many as we liked-and that didn’t happen at our house! LOL

My favorite Hershey’s Kisses memories are when my mom used to put them in my lunchbox as a kid. She always seemed to know when I needed a little extra sweetness.

My memory is always having them in the house and getting enough for everyone because if not they would just steal yours

When I was little my grandmother used to always keep a candy dish of Hershey’s kisses on her coffee table.
They were for good deeds and when you did a good deed for someone you were awarded a Hershey’s Kiss.

Now that I am older and she is passed I still have the candy dish and carry on the tradition.

When I was little we got a tin full of the Peanut Butter Blossom cookies from a friend at Christmas. I went through and ate all the kisses and left the cookies. No one believed I was “innocent” as I claimed.

I always loved baking Peanut Butter Blossoms! I was in charge of unwrapping the kisses for the cookies and almost always got to eat way too many!

When my husband and I were engaged college students, I got home from school one day and found my bed was full of hugs and kisses with a sweet note from him about how he was excited to shower me with hugs and kisses every night for the rest of our lives.

When I was in school, every Valentine’s day I would take bags of kisses to school and give them out to all of my friends!!
