In the weeks leading up to the birth of my second child, I was preparing my home. I knew that I was having a c-section, therefore I wouldn’t really want to be climbing stairs. I also remembered changing A LOT of diapers for my first child, so I knew that was something I’d be spending much of my time doing.
At that time, I heard about Sara Bear Baskets.
These baskets are nice and big (17″ long x 11″ wide x 6″ high to top of rim - 12″ high to top of handle), decorated with either gender neutral, boy, or girl specific fabric, and include a spot for a wipes case. Furthermore, they have recently introduced a new collection of fabrics that are thicker and snugger in the basket, and the handle was also redesigned. They are made to be transported from room to room, so that you have all changing necessities with you when needed. I purchased one online at http://www.sarabearbaskets.com/, and it arrived quickly. I set it up by my Graco Pack and Play (converted to a changing station) and was ready for baby’s arrival.
Six months later, I am still using this basket daily. I keep it stocked with diaper cream, antibacterial hand gel, petroleum jelly, wipes, and diapers, and just restock it as needed. I am able to move it around if necessary, and once I’m done using it for diapers, I am imagine lots of other uses, especially as a makeup caddy or toy holder. It’s lightweight, pretty, and completely functional! Until 12/31/2007, you can use the code SARABEAR at http://www.sarabearbaskets.com/ for a 15% discount.
