After 6 weeks of bedrest, I was definitely ready to have my first child. I had done so much internet research and took a bunch of classes. Even at the hospital, I tuned my hospital tv in to the newborn network and took classes there. But, honestly, none of that prepared me for the amount of basic questions I would have about my new baby.
Is she eating enough? Is she eating too much? How much should she sleep? I also was concerned about so many things from the clogged eye duct to the amount of weight she seemed to lose that first week. Stopping at a baby shop on the way back from a pediatrician appointment, I saw the book Baby 411, by the same authors as the Baby Bargains book I loved while pregnant.
Baby 411 answered just about every question I had, in an easy to understand format. The book is organized in a way that you can find what you need, and the answers actually make sense. I loved this book so much that when I had my second child, I pulled it right out again to refer to almost daily.
You can buy Baby 411 at many bookstores, including Amazon.com.
