Learning to Read Made Easier

by Jodi on March 20, 2007

Although my daughter isn’t old enough to learn to read yet, I’m so excited for when that time comes.  Teaching her to read will be challenging however, because I wouldn’t even know where to start!  starttoread Learning to Read Made EasierI just received the Start to Read kit from School Zone publishing, which has a bunch of items that make learning (and teaching) easier!

The kit includes 2 Start to Read books that are perfect as first “learn to read” books, two CDs with a story and some songs, 2 journals, stickers, and stencils with numbers and letters.  My favorite part of the kit, however, are the dry erase pages with reading comprehension questions that relate to the stories.  Because they can be erased, you can go through these again and again with your child!

These unique Start to Read Learning Kits can be found at http://www.schoolzone.com/.
