From the time I started putting together my baby’s nursery, I’ve always looked for gender neutral items that are high quality and unique.  I don’t want my kids’ rooms to be entirely filled of just cookie cutter plastic items.  One site that we’ve just learned about, Oompa Toys, offers high quality toys and accessories that don’t require batteries and don’t feature branded characters.

Oompa Toys recently introduced Sevi toys to its wonderful offering of hard to find, high quality toys.  Of special interest to us was the B My Prince Cross Mobile.  Admittedly, I had a mobile for my baby’s nursery, and never used it because it was tangled as it came out of the box and required batteries which I found somewhat strange.  However, I love the B My Prince Cross Mobile!  The colors are bright and vibrant and will match virtually any nursery decor.  The characters on the mobile are simple and fun, and will certainly catch a baby’s eye.  The best part however, is that this mobile is made entirely of wood and, according to the company’s website, is painted with a non-toxic, lead-free, food grade paint and finish!  Even my 1 year old and my 3 year old love to play with this mobile, providing it useful even beyond the newborn years.
