Fun and Educational Children’s Alphabet Blocks

by Jodi on December 2, 2007

With all of the “needs tons of batteries every few day, could potentially contain lead paint” toys in our house, galison Fun and Educational Childrens Alphabet BlocksI’ve really been trying to introduce more educational/lower tech toys to my children.  To be honest, they haven’t even really noticed the difference.  One toy that the two of them have really loved is the N is for Nature Alphabet Blocks by Galison/Mudpuppy.

This alphabet block set is made of sturdy paper cube blocks.  They are very strong – neither my 3 year old or my 1 year old have been able to make a dent in these blocks!  The set contains 16 2 inch blocks with 96 different images.  All of the illustrations are done by Lorena Siminovich and are fun and unique.  My son loves to identify the pictures in the blocks, while my daughter prefers to stack them up in a tower!  When they are done playing, the box for the blocks makes a nice carrying/display case.

These alphabet blocks make a great gift for young children, and are both educational and fun to play with.  Get yours at http://www.galison.com/.
