Stuffed, Plush, and Academic

activityfrogsmall Stuffed, Plush, and AcademicAs a child, my favorite toys were stuffed animals. They each had a name, a story, likes, dislikes, and they were all my friends. As a stuffed animal connoisseur, I’ve been excited to introduce my sons to their own menagerie of animals. Some of our recent favorites are from Aurora. My youngest son has especially become attached to his Froggy Puppet. He just loves feeding him with the accompanying ladybug and worm. Along with froggy, my blue-eyed monkey loves his two animals from Aurora’s Learn with Me! line. I look forward to seeing how Gee Whiz Giraffe will help him to learn how to tie, button, snap, and velcro. Our Activity Frog has a clock on his belly and has opposite words and pictures embroidered on his hands and feet. It’s a great way to get both of them familiar with concepts like time and days of the week.

My brown-eyed monkey enjoys playing with the animals but, especially enjoys the Baby Talk “My Space Shuttle.” The shuttle comes with a ‘video camera,’ 2 crewmember finger puppets, and a tool backpack. All of the pieces fit nicely inside of the shuttle so it is the perfect toy for on the go.

You can find many of Aurora’s products on http://www.amazon.com/ or on their website at http://www.auroraworld.com/.
