I think I’ve found a new best friend for my travels with kids…the AbbyRoo. I’ve been using our AbbyRoo for any trip that requires a bit more than my normal diaper bag. The AbbyRoo has zippered pockets to hold anything and everything…sippee cups, phones, epi-pens, pads, wallets, toys, food, lists, etc. With it, I don’t just feel like I’m posing as an organized momma…I’m closer to being one. My bag is black with three main compartments…a side pocket, a large middle pocket, and then a zipped up compartment with 8 mesh zippered pockets. Two of the pockets are perfect for bottles and sippees while the others can be used for almost anything you can think of.
Two weeks ago, my family and I needed to travel for an unexpected trip, involving two flights both ways. I knew it was time to get the AbbyRoo out and ready for action. I loved that with the wide strap, it fit comfortably on my shoulder. I filled the main compartment with a change of clothes for both boys, my book (like I would have a chance to read
), bananas, and a few sticker books. Our compartments held 2 epi-pens, cell phone, tickets, water bottles, my PDA, trains, and crayons. It wasn’t even close to being filled. It fit comfortably under the seat in front of us and zippered up securely so I wasn’t afraid of losing any valuables. I’ve used the bag for visits with friends and even out and about when I take more than the bare necessities. It’s great as a diaper bag, work tote, or any trip that would benefit from some organization.
