My preschool aged daughter usually dresses in play clothes, especially in the spring and summer, when she’s playing at the park, climbing jungle gyms and getting dirty. However, she loves dress up clothes, especially because it’s something her little brother shows no interest in. The best dress up clothes for her are the ones she can get on herself, preferably over her other clothes. As a result, she really loves tutus, which are easy to pull on, look cute, and are fun to twirl around in.
Lately, she’s been wearing a tutu by the new online boutique Lily Cait. Lily Cait specializes in handmade, couture tutus created just for your little one. The tutu we have is one of the pixie tutus, made with yards of hot pink tulle, a white silk bow, and sparkly rhinestones sprinkled throughout. I especially like the waistband, which at 18 inches is very stretchy and fits waists up to 32 inches. The quality is fabulous, and with so much fabric being used, it is super-poofy and cute!
