Within the past year, we’ve been hearing a lot of really great information about going green. From soaring gas prices to the general knowledge that we’ve been harming our planet, parents everywhere are trying to conserve, save, recycle, and reuse. If you are like me, you probably aren’t entirely sure how to take all of the information about being eco-friendly and apply it to your own family and home.
We received a draft copy of a new book, Eco-Friendly Families, which seeks to provide families ideas and information for making small but meaningful changes at home. From encouraging your children to take only one tissue or napkin to using reusable bags to making your own cleaners, there is advice in this book that can be used in every home. There are even tips for each month of the year, making it easy to plan.
Eco Friendly Families will be released on Tuesday (8/13) and can be purchased at Amazon.com.
