Playing Noodleboro Games with your Little Noodle

by Chris on August 16, 2008

Noodleboro is an innovative new line of board games by Hasbro that have been created to help moms and dads develop social skills in their children through fun, interactive activities. I love the idea of sitting down with our boys and enjoying a family night that doesn’t involve dishes, struggling with brushing teeth, or the push of getting ready for the next day. While many board games are a touch ahead of our developmental level, the Noodleboro games are perfect. Not only do we have family time, but we feel like we’re helping our oldest to learn so many skills, including the specific goal for each game.

Each Noodleboro game comes with a storybook and an audio CD to utilize all of the senses to help the children enjoy the game while learning a little along the way. Our game is Learning About Manners Picnic Basket Game. During game time, we can enjoy our picnic as we keep ants from taking away our food and treats with the magic words…please and thank you. At story time, we have a book, and at music time, we have the CD, to fully reinforce minding our manners. The game lives up to the Hasbro name with quality pieces and an enjoyable story line. It’s a game that helps you learn rather than a lesson that just happens to be fun.

Also available is the Learning to Share Fun Park Game and the Learning to Listen Pizza Palace Game. All of the sets are geared for children 4 and up and are suited to 2 or 3 players.
