You probably already know how much our children love the Thomas the Tank Engine and all of his friends. Our most recent Thomas DVD fascination has come with The Great Discovery. It’s now my son’s favorite DVD and he just loves talking about Stanley, Thomas and the town of Waterton. This is why we were super-excited to receive the Take Along Thomas and Friends Morgan’s Mine Set. We love the Take Along trains. They are portable and perfect for bringing with us wherever we go, whether it be on a quick trip out shopping or for a longer stay with family or friends. These were what introduced my sons to the Thomas and Friends world.
The Take Along Thomas and Friends Morgan’s Mine Set comes with all of the pieces to relive the mine scent from “The Great Discovery” movie. With Thomas and a freight car and 37 pieces the sets has eleven feet in track. My sons love that with a push of the button the set plays the Thomas theme song, too. Like all of the other Take Along sets, the set easily packs up for travel. These are the types of things I love putting together. With a set of blueprints, my oldest son and I ‘laid’ track and then raced along the various obstacles.
