My kids love books, and my husband and I have always found it essential to keep them surrounded by interesting stories, from our childhood favorites and new classics to unique finds. While neither of my kids can read yet, they love being read to, and enjoy looking at pictures.
Through Team Mom, I received samples of a few new books by The Secret Mountain, which I had previously not heard of. These books are so unique in that they feature not only hardcovered book, but also an accompanying CD filled with music that goes along with the story.
Our personal favorite is “A Duck in New York City” which features an adorable little duck who wants to go to New York City to perform his dance on Broadway. It’s an inspirational story, and the illustrations are incredibly colorful and captivating.
