My kids love dessert – dangle dessert in front of them, and they are pretty much willing to behave. While we usually consider fruit a good dessert, we do try to keep a variety of small “real” desserts for post-dinner treats when they are especially well behaved. So, when I was sent some samples of Little Debbie’s 100 calorie snack cakes, I thought they’d be a good option for a small treat.
The snack cakes come in several different flavors, including my kids’ personal favorites – chocolate and lemon. They are small – 100 calories doesn’t go all that far – but they are just the right size for a small treat. It’s much better than cutting a tiny sliver of a big cake – since they are individually wrapped, the kids are okay with just one.
You can find Little Debbie’s Snack Cakes at your local grocery store.
