The Child: All About Children From A to Z

The Child Encyclopedic Companion thumb The Child: All About Children From A to Z As a former professional working with children, I have searched out many books to help me have an understanding of the varied childhood experiences out there. I read articles, books, and research studies but information can be scattered and not always easy to find. As a parent, with even more questions and less time on my hands, I’ve found that I haven’t always been able to search for what I’m looking for in journals and would resort to popular information off of the web. There just isn’t enough time in the world for me to read all that I would like and the searching alone is so time consuming.

The Child: An Encyclopedic Companion puts all of the information that professionals and parents need in succinct and useful articles. Whether you’re interested in reading about adoption, homeschooling, gastrointestinal disorders, gangs, or food aversions, you’ll find research-based knowledge from experts in the field.  While individual articles include basic facts along with recent developments within topics, there are also essays incorporating the way different cultures deal with those issues. It’s wonderful to have a ‘go to’ source that provides you with enough data to develop a full understanding of what the concept is and the history involved.

You can find The Child: An Encyclopedic Companion will be released on September 15, you can pre-order online at Amazon.com The Child: All About Children From A to Z.
