My 5-year old daughter’s favorite toys to play with are dolls and books, so I just knew that she’s love the new plush Madeline dolls by Kids Preferred. These dolls commemorate Madeline’s 70th anniversary, and introduce this adorable little French girl to a whole new audience.
There are several different Madeline dolls available, from the soft talking Madeline available at Toys R Us to the dressable Madeline available at specialty toy shops. We were sent the dressable Madeline, and since she arrived at our house, my daughter has been carrying her around non-stop. She comes complete with Madeline’s signature outfit – a blue coat with a yellow hat, and separate outfits are also available.
What I love about Madeline is that she comes with a story. Books, available separately, tell tales of Madeline’s life in France, introducing my curious daughter to new cultures. We already had the original Madeline book, so we chose to receive the Madeline and the Cats of Rome book. My daughter absolutely loves this story, and we’ve already read it to her multiple times!
