I first tried Lush products in 2003, when I was on vacation in Quebec City. I was pregnant for the first time, and desperate for some creams that would help with my then-dry skin. After some hand gestures and my very limited high school French, I walked out of the store with a bag full of products labelled in French, and was quickly hooked. When a Lush store opened in my town, it quickly became one of my go-to stores. I recently had the chance to review some fun Lush products, and now have a few new favorites.
Although I don’t take baths regularly, I do enjoy taking them to relax on occasion. When I do, I want it to be a bubble bath, so it’s extra relaxing. The Comforter bubble bar pictured here (with the pink and white swirl), is awesome for baths – you get lots of bubbles with it. I actually break it up into a few pieces and use it on multiple occasions. The bath bombs are great too (the green ball in the back), especially for a more energizing bath.
Ocean Salt is now one of my favorite products. Since I am firmly in the “salt” camp when I order my margaritas, I love this product – it smells just like a margarita. It’s a great exfoliating product, and I use it on my face and body – something I can’t do with most products.
Lush also makes some other fabulous products like body soap, body cream, moisturizers, massage bars, and shampoo bars. All of them make great gifts and are also fabulous for a special treat for yourself. Lush also offers fabulous gift sets if you’d prefer to gift something prepackaged.
