I’m a chocoholic, and I’m pretty discriminating with chocolate – it has to be high-quality and I prefer dark over milk. The way to my heart is definitely with some great chocolate, so the gift set that Hotel Chocolat sent me for Mother’s Day was definitely gone in just a short amount of time.
The gift set I received – The Pretty in Pink set – included a variety of kinds of chocolates – Milk Chocolate Munchkins, Strawberry Heart lollipop, Peanut Passion chocolates, and two Raspberry Fusion Slabs. All of them were excellent, although the milk chocolate munchkins (chocolate covered cookie pieces) were my favorite. Although I’m not typically a fan of fruit flavor in chocolate, the raspberry fusion slabs, combining chocolate and raspberry tasted delicious. These are such a great gift for the mom in your life, or even just because.

Their store on Newbury St in Boston is filled with all sorts of goodies, and there’s a tasting room in the back for parties I was told by the clerk. My favorite are the pink champagne truffles, and sometimes they go on on sale on their website!
