Organic Skin Care – Juice Beauty Review

I struggle so much with finding good skin care products.   I need something that doesn’t clog pores, but helps prevent wrinkles and aging.   I need it to be moisturizing, but not greasy.   But most of all, I like to use products with natural ingredients that are good for both the skin and the earth.   I had the chance to try a sample kit from Juice Beauty – a company that offers organic, natural ingredients.

I tried out the Green Apple Collection, which features a serum, moisturizer, peel, and cleanser.   The whole line is great for those with dry, maturing, and oily skin, which pretty much describes my skin.   According to their website, it’s not good for sensitive skin, but I haven’t found the line to be harsh at all – it works very well for my skin.

I use all of the products twice per day, with the exception of the peel, which I use once or twice a week.   The peel seems to work well to eliminate dry flakes, but doesn’t exactly peel my skin – it just gently exfoliates.   The other products are also great – they smell pleasant, work well, and since they made without   parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances – they are just perfect for me!

You can learn more about Juice Beauty on their website.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary sample set for review.

  1. I love Juice Beauty’s Age Defy Kit. When I started using the kit my skin had never felt or looked more beautiful! When I ran out of my products I bought all of them in full size and I couldn’t be happier with how much better my skin looks!

  2. I actually stumbled upon your post while looking for diet relating to skin care. You mention that the peel is really an exfoliating agent that is really not a harsh as an actual “˜peel’ why do they call it a peel? That word by itself has a tendency to scare me. I want to remove the dead skin cells without suffering a slight chemical peel. It’s also funny you mention you have a dry and oily skin as I have the same issue with different areas of my face and when I mention it I get a weird look sometimes as in “˜How can you have both? Anyway, I’ll have to look into this brand. Thanks!
