I first learned about Dr. Andrew Weil Integrative Footwear and Orthaheel back at BlogHer 2011, when I received a wonderful pair of Orthaheel Flip Flops. I lived in these shoes until it became too cold outside to wear them, so when I learned about Dr. Weil’s one-month nationwide Walkabout campaign, I applied to become an ambassador. My work out routine has been non-existent lately, so the idea of walking sounded like just the right way to jump start my spring fitness routine.
I was accepted as one of the 50 Walkabout Ambassadors, and received a cute pair of gray and purple Rhythm Walkers. If you aren’t familiar with Dr. Andrew Weil Integrative Footwear – these shoes have some very strong arch support and are incredibly supportive for walking. I’ve loved walking in them, and with the great spring weather we’ve been getting, I’ve been able to walk quite a bit.
The Walkabout continues through April, but I’ll be walking for much longer than that!
