I travel a lot, and while I have some travel sizes of my favorite makeup, when I travel on longer trips I like to bring my daily products. So when I learned about the Lay-n-Go Cosmo bag, made especially for makeup, I knew it would be the perfect way for me to scoop up all of the products on my counter and bring them on vacation.
The Lay-n-Go line was all created by a mom who needed something to control chaos and messes. While some of the products are great for organizing toys, the Cosmo, which I have, is perfect for cosmetics.
I leave mine opening on my counter top in my bathroom at home. Then, when I’m traveling, I just pull the nylon cord, and it cinches closed – perfect to toss right into your suitcase. I just open it right back up again when I get to the hotel. It’s nice to have all of my makeup in one place too. Last year I lost an eyeliner when the cleaning staff thought it was a coffee stirrer, so if everything is on the Lay-n-Go it’s pretty secure.
The Lay-n-Go Cosmo is made of 100% quilted smooth poly and has a 100% nylon liner. It’s water repellent and has a wipeable surface – important for a cosmetic bag because inevitably something spills or leaks every time I travel (no matter how careful I am). The Cosmo also includes a pocket on the exterior – for feminine products, barrettes, or jewelry. The drawstring around the Lay-n-Go creates a little “lip” also – which means your makeup won’t roll off the counter top.
There are are also small and large Lay-n-Gos which are great for popular kids’ toys like Legos, Trashies, and other small toys.
