Back in 2008, I started my personal blog Multitasking Mommy. Back then, I felt that Mom’s Favorite Stuff was best reserved for product reviews and giveaways, but I wanted a place to talk about my decision to leave the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom, my quest to run a half-marathon, and my opinions on just about everything. I chose the title Multitasking Mommy because that what I am – a mom who works (full-time at one time), volunteers at school, is a Girl Scout leader, a mom, a woman, a wife, a daughter – I think we’re actually all Multitasking Mommies.
Last year, in an attempt to simplify (I was running four blogs at that point), I decided to move all of my personal blog posts – my Boston Mom Blog – Multitasking Mommy blog posts – over to Mom’s Favorite Stuff. Multitasking Mommy is still up, but all new content is over here.

On the Pure Me section of Mom’s Favorite Stuff, I now post everything personal. I did eventually run that half-marathon, although I’ve let my fitness routine lapse over the years. I have been working to improve my lifestyle, and am even taking tennis lessons for the first time ever. I’ve also changed my diet over the years, and am working to figure out the right amount of food for my metabolism.
I also write about parenting. As the mom to a 6-year old boy and an 8-year old girl, I learn something new every day from my kids. I spend lots of time with my children – from volunteering in the classroom to bouncing around from activity to activity. Parenting is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but it’s the most rewarding. While I respect my children’s privacy, I do write some posts about my family and about parenting.
I don’t post personal blog posts on a regular schedule, but when I do, you’ll find them under Pure Me, and on the homepage.
