Relaxed, Refreshed, and Ready for the Fall

I just returned from an end-of-summer family vacation.  For a vacation that started with this here website being deactivated and ended with Family-Friendly Boston being deactivated, it was a relaxing and refreshing vacation.

Instead of stressing about back to school, I was watching super-cuteness like this….

and this….

While the kids visited the camp at Smugglers’ Notch, my husband and I visited a local winery, ate yummy food, and got some work done while sitting outside.

At our second resort, the Stowe Mountain Lodge, I even had a yummy pina colada while relaxing by the pool.

So, what could have been a crazy, stress-filled week was blissful.  I got so excited for so many new ventures, and am ready to hit the ground running to expand my sites.

Disclaimer: Thanks to Stowe Mountain Lodge for the comped stay, and Smugglers’ Notch for the comped kids camps.

  1. Sounds like a perfect way to cap off the summer! I have heard great things about Stowe and now I want to check it out even more.

  2. Momma of all trades nailed it… What a great way to end the summer, so happy for you! Can’t wait to do something like this myself :)

    • I thought the end of summer trip might be too hectic, but it was perfect. I think I’ll be traveling that week every year.
