Can an ab belt, worn for 45 minutes per day, really slim down your abs? I’ve always seen the ads and figured it was just too good to be true, so when the Contour Ab Belt System contacted me to review their ab belt and protein, I just had to try it! After all, like many moms, my abs just aren’t the same as they used to be, and I know that many moms are probably wondering if this product actually works as advertised.
The first thing I noticed when I received the package is that there is a recommended diet to go along with the belt. It really isn’t just meant to be done alone. Since I’m already on a diet, and I follow an exercise program, this wasn’t an issue for me.
Contour Ab Belt Review
The belt takes a few minutes to put together, and then you are ready to go. The included instructions let you know exactly how to program it, and you can control the intensity. The first time I used it, it was a little painful – primarily from my muscles contracting, I think, but by the second or third time, it felt more like a deep-tissue massage.
So, how does the contour ab belt work? Surprisingly (and happily), it works quite well. I noticed my oblique muscles tightening right away, and I purposely skipped out on any ab exercising for a month (yeah, it was a sacrifice). I’ve also noticed some flatting of my abs. Now that I’m on month 2, I’ve moved up to a more difficult level and I’m still seeing results! So, for me, yes, it works! Once my husband heard my Contour Ab Belt review, he couldn’t believe that it would actual work either, so he tried it but couldn’t tolerate the discomfort. For him, he’d prefer to do ab exercises, but I like to use the belt along with exercise.
Contour also makes protein powders, which I’ve added to my smoothies on a regular basis. Since I have high cholesterol, I’m really trying to limit the meat I eat, yet, my body still needs protein. This is a good compromise.
Contour is offering a 10% discount on their Facebook page, and you can learn more about the Contour on their website.
Disclosure: I received the Contour Ab Belt and protein powder at no cost for this Contour Belt review. All opinions are my own.
