Surely you know that it’s national Talk Like a Pirate Day (it’s also my parents’ 42nd wedding anniversary, but that’s won’t get you free Krispy Kremes). To celebrate, Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate, a fan favorite at Smugglers’ Notch Resort has released a DVD featuring his popular songs. My kids have loved watching Rockin’ Ron over the years, so they are really enjoying the DVD. Although it’s a great souvenir for past Smugglers’ Notch guests, you don’t have to have been to Smuggs to enjoy it. The DVD definitely appeals to all pirate-loving children.
