Daylight savings time is almost over, and it’s time to stock up so that you can replace all of the batteries in your smoke detectors and your smoke alarms. If the power goes out (as it did for many families recently as a result of Hurricane Sandy), you’ll need that battery backup to make sure that your house stays safe. Experts recommend that you change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when you turn back the clocks.
To help you out in keeping your home safe, Energizer is offering one Mom’s Favorite Stuff reader a Family Safety Kit. The kit includes the following:
