If you are pregnant, shopping for someone pregnant, or mom to a little one, you’ll be thrilled to know that Totsy is bringing JoJo Maman Bebe, a popular maternity and baby line from the UK, to the US. The line offers maternity wear, layette essentials, nursery decor, and baby and children’s apparel.
Mom Laura Tenison was moved to create JoJo Maman Bebe in 1993, after feeling that the maternity styles available to her were frumpy and unappealing. Inspired by the style of Brittany (in the Western part of France) were she was living, Laura worked to create a line that would appeal to modern moms.
Thanks to Totsy, I had the opportunity to check out a few items from JoJo Maman Bébé. Although it’s a British line, I find that it’s got a very “coastal” type feel, similar to what I see in Nantucket and Newport. The whole line is very classy, and very unique too. In addition, many of the items have a classic feel – and are likely to stay stylish for years to come. My little guy received an adorable linen outfit perfect for a family wedding, while my daughter received a beautiful rag doll and fun letters that spell out her name. I’m so thrilled that these items are going to be available here – they are just great new baby or baby shower gifts.
