I finally broke down and let my daughter get an iTouch for her birthday. She takes care of her stuff and was always borrowing my phone – so it was a good time. So, when I had the opportunity to review Ubooly, a plush toy that works with both the iPhone and the iTouch, I thought it would be the perfect accessory for her iTouch.
Ubooly is both a plush toy and an iPhone/iTouch app (available free in the iTunes store, but it does need to code from the Ubooly toy to fully function). When you pair the toy with the phone, it works as a face to the phone and actually communicates with you. My daughter loves playing with it – it listens and responds to her and can even play music when she asks it to.
The Ubooly app also plays over 150 games and activities and can be used both in and out of the stuffed animal. I love the fact that my daughter – who’s more of a tween than a child at this point – still loves this toy. It also serves to protect her iTouch – something that I was most concerned about.
