I adore Vineyard Vines preppy clothes and accessories, but don’t adore their prices. I have a few of their things that I bought on sale, but I just can’t afford to wear their clothes on a regular basis. Last week, while on Facebook, an ad popped up in the right margin of the site for the Vineyard Vines “Whalehouse” Warehouse Outlet Sale in Lawrence, MA. Lawrence is almost an hour from my house, but we were visiting Maine for the weekend and it was just a short detour on the way home.
Vineyard Vines Whalehouse Sale
The sale is almost impossible to find information on. If it weren’t for the Facebook ad, there’s no way I would have found out. It’s held in an unassuming warehouse in Lawrence, and there are just a few small signs to direct you to the appropriate location. I’m so glad we visited though, because I was able to get some great deals!
The Vineyard Vines “Whalehouse” Warehouse Outlet Sale is held in a warehouse room, and most of the fashion items are stacked in boxes on tables, although a few dresses, jackets, and sweaters are hanging on racks. There are also tables of ties and boxes with loads of flip flops. There were no totes – I asked about them and was told that they occasionally get a handful of them for the opening day, but they are usually gone within the first hour. Like most fashion sample sales, there are no shopping carts, but large clear trash bags are available at the front entrance for you to hold your haul.
Prices are great. It seems as though most of the items come from the outlet store, because they’ve already been marked down at least once. While I was there, they offered 40% off the lowest price – although the sign looked as though the percentage may change. I picked up a sweater, a long-sleeved tee, a pair of shorts, a pair of flip flops and a polo, while my husband got a pair of pants and a long-sleeved button down shirt. Our total came to less than $200 – a bargain because the sweater alone originally retailed for $150.
There are lots of preppy kids’ fashion too – sweaters, polos, pants, dresses, and bathing suits. This current sale is scheduled to run through March 3, 2013, and is located at Everett Mills, 15 Union St. Lawrence, MA.

I am looking at an ad right now on the front page of the Accent section of the Eagle-Tribune newspaper which is advertising that the sale is running from Feb 16th to March 3rd. 2013 at 15 Union St, 2nd Floor, Lawrence, MA. Their hours are Mon-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 12pm-6pm.
The next sale begins June 8, 2013? I can’t find any information anywhere. Just wondering how you determined the date. Thanks!

I’m assuming they do restock regularly, but they did tell me that some items (like the totes) sell out the first day.
