I have so many fond memories of our adventures at the Build-A-Bear Workshop. My kids used to be so slow getting out the door in the mornings for preschool, so I implemented a point system. They would get a point for every day that we got out of the door on time with no tears or delaying tactics. When they earned a specific number of points, they could trade them in for something fun. Often, they’d request a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop, where they would have fun choosing a stuffed animal, creating it, and bathing it.
National Teddy Bear Day is September 9, 2016, and Build-A-Bear Workshop is celebrating with a limited edition teddy bear. It’s available for only $5 (plus applicable taxes) and only in stores on September 9th, 2016. In addition, two other bears, Lil’ Vanilla Bean Cub and Lil’ Hazelnut Cub, are available for $5 each. A maximum of 5 $5 bears can be purchased per customer, while supplies last. But, not only will you get an adorable bear, you’ll also be helping others. For each $5 bear purchased in stores on September 9, 2016, National Teddy Bear Day, Build-A-Bear Workshop will donate one stuffed animal to Toys for Tots in the US.
