I’ve been obsessed with Mason jar crafts this season. They are easy to make and can work with just about any decor. Although I usually use the limited edition blue or green jars, for this mirrored Mason jar project, I started with a basic clear jar.
All you need is a clear glass Mason jar, Krylon Looking Glass Mirror Like Aerosol spray, and your favorite artificial flowers. Because the spray goes on the inside of the jar, I don’t recommend using real flowers.
Clear the Mason jar and make sure that it’s completely dry and dust free. Use the aerosol spray per the directions. To get a full mirror look, you’ll want to put on multiple, very thin coats of spray. I use the spray outdoors or in the garage, and put the jar in a small box to avoid spraying the ground. Give it ample time to dry between coats to avoid streaking.
Once it’s dry, cut down your flowers to just peek out of the top of the jar. You can swap out the flowers seasonally – I plan to add fall flowers to mine this week.
