Dyson has recently introduced their latest vacuum – the Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try it out, because I’ve always been a fan of Dyson products. I was especially interested in trying this product, because with two kids and a dog, I find myself vacuuming frequently. The idea of being able to schedule automatic cleanings is appealing.
The Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum includes the following features:
- Dyson link app, which works with Android and iOS devices
- Tank tracks that work for all floor types
- 360 degree vision
- Dyson digital motor
- Full width brush bar
- Infrared sensors that can sense drops and obstacles
- Claims to have twice the suction of any other robot vacuum
Review of the Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum
Setting up the Dyson 360 Eye Robot online was easy. Once I received it, I unboxed the vacuum and started setting it up. I have an iPhone 7+, and was able to easily download the app, connect, and set up. My router is compatible, so I had no issues there. Through the app, I scheduled my robot to run every other day automatically.
When the robot is about to run, I get a reminder on my iPhone, which is a good reminder to clean any stray items from the floor. It does run right over our floor rugs, so those don’t need to be removed – but occasionally the kids or dog leave an item on the floor that can get caught up.
In our house, the robot runs about 35-40 minutes on one charge, and then returns back to the base for recharging, before going back and finishing. Our whole first floor usually is completed with one or two charges. It is able to go under our couch and tables (which are pretty high off the ground), and rarely ends up getting stuck in a position. In that case, I just pick it up and put it back on the charger. I also get an alert on my iPhone if that happens, which is great if I’m not home.
The cleaning is excellent, just as you’d expect from a Dyson product. I am so surprised at how much dust it gathers every other day. I would think the floors would still be pretty clean, but it always fills up. Emptying it is easy, and I do that after every complete run.
The Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum is great for any busy mom. To learn more, visit the Dyson website.
