Year End Teacher Gift Idea
Last year, when I put together our year end teacher gifts, I was looking for something fun and creative. I didn't have enough time to make our own individual gifts, so I decided to make these fun “A day at the beach” bags. They cost about $50 each, but you could definitely make a more expensive version if you wanted to spend more money (maybe for a class gift). You could also find these individual items on sale, especially if you shop early.
Here's what I included:
Mesh beach bag – I originally found some online, but then they were going to take too long to arrive, so I was thrilled to see these mesh bags at Target. I actually was able to get them on sale, and bought all of the bags they had!
Water bottles – I found the water bottles and sunscreens in the seasonal section of Target. Here's a great set – you'll get two bottles for one good price, in case you are making more than one bottle. (These are not the bottles pictured above – I wasn't able to find them online).
Beach towel – These were also from the seasonal section of Target. There are a variety of different color options available at this price.
Sunscreen – I chose this Neutrogena sunscreen, which is my personal favorite. Again, you may be able to find these on sale at some point, so start searching now!
I also purchased a small gift card from Barnes and Noble for the teachers to purchase a fun beach read to complete their “day at the beach”.
If you are using this year end teacher gift idea, I also have a free printable that you can download and include! Click here to access it.
